Alongside Advisors provides private, non-clinical recovery support in South Florida and New York, and by video anywhere. Each engagement is built from the services below and led by one Advisor, who stays with the client and the family from the first conversation through treatment and the life that follows.
The services
01/Private Advisory
One Lead Advisor for the whole situation.
A private recovery advisor who coordinates the engagement as a whole: treatment options, clinicians, family communication, travel and logistics. Families often arrive looking for a recovery consultant, or for what some call recovery case management. This is that role, held by one person you can call.
02/Family Advisory
For the people trying to help.
Preparation, education and facilitated family sessions for the parents, partners and siblings of someone struggling with alcohol or drug use. We help a family agree on what to say, what to offer and where the limits are. This is non-clinical support. Family therapy, when a plan calls for it, comes from a licensed professional.
03/Intervention Support
Before the conversation takes place.
Intervention planning and on-site support for a family. We prepare each person for the conversation, work with the interventionist the family selects or bring in one we trust, and have admission and travel arranged before it takes place.
04/Personal Companions
In person, when it matters most.
One-on-one companionship and daily structure, by the hour or live-in for a short period, at home, at work or while traveling. Often called a sober companion or sober coach, a Personal Companion is there for the moments that carry the most weight: the first weeks home, a family event, a business trip. In-home and overnight work is reserved for Advisors with five or more years of continuous sobriety.
05/Private Transport
Getting there safely.
Accompanied travel by car or by air to treatment, home from treatment or to another agreed destination, with an Advisor present from pickup to handoff. Sometimes called sober transport or a sober escort. It is supportive accompaniment, not medical or secure transport, and it is always voluntary.
06/Ongoing Coaching
Building what comes next.
Structured, goal-based recovery coaching and accountability, in person or by video or phone. Sessions turn good intentions into structure, habits and goals you can measure, across career, financial fitness, health, daily life and relationships. Every Advisor is properly credentialed in the discipline they coach.
07/Admission and Discharge Planning
The moves into treatment, between levels of care and home.
Planning and support for entering treatment, moving between levels of care and coming home: aftercare scheduling, logistics and the daily routine that follows. The choice of program always belongs to the client and the family, and we neither pay nor accept referral fees.

Provided by Alongside Advisors
The seven services above are delivered by our own Advisors under a written client services agreement. They are non-clinical: advisory, planning, coordination, companionship, transport and coaching.
Coordinated with independent professionals
Interventionists, treatment programs, therapists, psychiatrists, recovery housing and other licensed or specialist providers. We help the family choose, we arrange, and we stay involved, but each works under their own license, agreement and consent. We neither pay nor accept referral fees.

Is this treatment?
No. Alongside Advisors is an advisory and support firm, not a treatment provider. Advisors do not diagnose, treat or provide therapy. When a plan calls for clinical care, it comes from independent licensed professionals.
Where do you work?
In person across South Florida, from Miami to West Palm Beach, and in New York. By video, anywhere. The firm is based in Delray Beach, Florida.
Does insurance cover it?
Our services are private pay. We do not bill health insurance.
How does it start?
