Understanding the need

The call that falls outside the job description.

Family office executives, estate attorneys, private bankers and wealth advisors are trusted with a family’s most important matters. Sometimes that brings a question no one planned for: a worried parent, a spouse unsure what to do, a principal whose situation has become urgent.

We are the resource for that call: a private recovery advisory firm, not a treatment center, built to coordinate the whole situation.

How Alongside Advisors helps

From the first conversation through what comes after.

01/Intervention coordination

We prepare the family, bring in an experienced interventionist, and have admission and travel arranged before the conversation.

02/Treatment navigation

We help the family weigh programs and choose well. The choice is always theirs, and we take no referral fees.

03/Transport and companions

An Advisor from door to door, and a Personal Companion at home, at work or while traveling.

04/Family advisory

A Family Advisor for parents, partners and siblings: communication, boundaries, expectations and decisions.

05/Client coaching

Structure, goals and accountability after treatment, in person or by video.

06/Continuity

The same Lead Advisor at admission, at discharge and at every step between. Nothing is handed to a stranger.

A single Lead Advisor

One Lead Advisor holds the whole picture and is the one person the family needs to call. With the client’s permission, the same is true for you.

Communication with you follows the client’s written authorization: what they agree to share, at the cadence you agree, and nothing more.

Support for the family

The family is supported, not only kept informed.

While the individual is in treatment, the family often has the hardest weeks and the least guidance. Our Family Advisors work with them directly, before, during and after treatment, within the limits the client sets.

Non-clinical. Family therapy, when needed, comes from a licensed professional we coordinate with.

Long-term continuity

Treatment ends. The relationship does not have to.

Most plans stop at discharge. Ours begin before it and continue after: appointments kept, structure for the first weeks home, coaching as work and family life return. Support tapers as the client finds their footing, and the Lead Advisor remains the person to call.

We do not promise outcomes. We do promise that no one in the family will be left to work it out alone.

Professional introductions

Referring a family is simple.

No health details needed

Your name, your role and a way to reach you. We do not need the family’s name or any health information to begin.

A personal reply

An Advisor replies personally, usually the same business day, to you or to the family, whichever they prefer.

Your role, your choice

Introduce us and step back, or stay involved as the family’s coordinator, within the authorization the client gives.

No referral fees

We do not pay or accept referral fees, and we do not steer families toward any program. Florida law requires it; we would do it anyway.

Discretion by design

Correspondence reduces a family’s name to an initial. Subject lines never name a client, a facility or a condition. Our team and standards are published on the Who we are page.
