Alongside AdvisorsPrivate Transport
From the door to the door, with someone who knows the way.
Accompanied travel to treatment, home from it, or to the next level of care, by car or by air, with a named Advisor present from pickup to handoff. Sometimes called sober transport or a sober escort. It is supportive accompaniment, always voluntary, never secure or medical transport.

What it includes
What the trip includes.
01/Pickup at the door
The Advisor arrives at the home, the hospital or the program with the itinerary settled and the receiving party expecting the client.
02/The journey itself
By car across South Florida or the New York area, or by air anywhere, with the Advisor seated beside the client the whole way.
03/Handoff and confirmation
The client is introduced in person at the receiving program or met at home by the Companion or the family. The referring clinician gets a confirmation on arrival.
04/The first hours after
When the trip is home from treatment, the same Advisor stays for the first appointments or hands off to a Companion who is already expected.
Who it is for
Who it is for.
- A client traveling to a program out of state, or coming home from one, who should not make that trip alone.
- Treatment programs and interventionists who need an admission or discharge transport they can confirm with one call.
- Families who would rather not drive the trip themselves, and who want to know the person arrived.
In the plan
How it fits the rest of the plan.
Airports we work from
Palm Beach International, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood and Miami International in Florida; JFK, LaGuardia, Newark and Westchester County in the New York area.
Who does it
A named Advisor, qualified for the work, who can be the same person the client meets later in treatment and at discharge.
Lead time
A transport can usually begin within a day or two. Same-day trips are sometimes possible; tell us the timing on the first call.
Boundaries
Voluntary and accompanied. If a situation calls for medical or secure transport, we say so and help arrange it with the right provider.
Good to know
Questions families ask.
Is this a medical transport?
No. It is supportive accompaniment for a person who has agreed to go. Medical or secure transport, when needed, comes from licensed providers.
Can the family come?
Sometimes that helps and sometimes it does not. The Lead Advisor talks it through with the family and the clinical team before the trip.
What about luggage, medication and paperwork?
The Advisor goes through the program's admission checklist with the family before pickup so nothing is missing at the door.
